The Nature of Paper
My name is Archana Varma, and Shashi Inspirations is a venture I created in my mother’s memory. She was an exceptionally talented woman with an eye for beauty, a gift for turning simple things into something meaningful, and a deep belief in helping others whenever she could.
Her dream was to share her talents widely—uplifting others and giving them skills to support themselves. Life’s challenges kept her from fully realizing that vision, but her spirit lives on in this work.
Shashi Inspirations is rooted in two core values: creativity and imagination. Inspired by nature and driven by passion, every piece is handmade. I primarily work with the art of paper quilling, a craft I learned with my mother.
I draw inspiration from the world around me—the horses running in the fields, the birds singing in the morning, and the warm embraces of friends and family celebrating love and joy. These moments become the themes that flow into my art.
